Caring SG Commuters movement first began in August 2017 as a national culture-building movement to foster a caring commuting culture in Singapore. It started with the inaugural Heart Zone* at Outram Park MRT Station. The Caring SG Commuters Committee was set up in 2020 to partner commuters and the community in a joint effort to transform Singapore’s public transport system into a more caring and inclusive public transport journey for all.
